We had a Christmas card today. From the family two doors down. The family of the Gothic Trumpeter. What does this mean? Is it like the festive truce of the 1914 trenches? Does this mean I can take the garlic off?

No. Leave the garlic on. This might be a ruse to lure you out of safety. Be prepared. Have a stake and mallet ready just in case. I, of course, know this from watching all the Bela Lugosi Dracula movies.

Just in case you don't post before the holidays again, Merry Christmas to you and your lovely family. Nana would want you to enjoy them.
