It seemed like a good idea at the time. Well, it is her first Bonfire Night. And she likes bright lights and pretty patterns. And she’s pretty good with noise. Though yes, admittedly, she does tend to jump and sob uncontrollably if someone sneezes unexpectedly. Still, she didn’t cry at any time during the display, I think I heard her coo-ing, she had her milk when we got home and went straight to sleep so she must have been exhausted by the excitement and fresh air. That or the bangs and flashes have put her into a catatonic daze and she’s suffering from acute shock. How many traumas can an infant remember anyway?
We, here in the US, are so backward. What is a "Bonfire Night"? Is it to celebrate something important? Never mind...I just looked it up. Guy Fawkes Day...well, Happy Guy Fawkes day, or *insert appropriate greeting*.

I think your safe, kids dont really remember too well before the age of 4. Maybe some sights and smells will bring back old memories.
Guess that means you'll be best hiding your baby from Guy Fawkes night for the rest of her life, just to prevent any unwanted catatonic daze.
