Catch Up

I love Lorry Drivers.  And they love each other.  Lots of people wrongly assume that, despite driving largely identical speed-limited pantechnicons, these drivers are trying to overtake their peers by driving approximately one-eighth of a mile an hour faster.  That, of course, would be madness.  That’s not it all.  No, the two drivers that effectively brought the motorway to a standstill for three-quarters of an hour were actually old friends who simply needed a bit of time to catch up - mano a mano - cab to cab.  To the hundreds of us waiting to squeeze past in the outside lane, they looked very content.
